Humberside Police have received reports that fraudsters are calling victims pretending to be from a pharmacy, asking for card details to be able to process a prescription.
Should you be contacted by a pharmacist, they will not ask for your bank details and we remind you to never give out any personal details or banking information.
In raising awareness of this type of fraud, FraudWatch have created a graphic highlighting this incident and ask that you share this with your networks as it could happen anywhere within the force area.
